BPLAB Participates In 'Singapore Edu-Tech ASIA 2023', Asia's Largest Education Fair

BPLAB announced on the 8th and 9th that it participated in 'Edu-Tech Asia 2023 (Edu-Tech ASIA 2023)', which will be held at the Sands Expo Convention Center in Singapore.
The 'Edu-Tech Asia' is Asia's largest fair for educators and educational technology suppliers. Every year, it provides a place to showcase the latest edutech contents of educational technology companies with innovative educational technology worldwide.

Since it was first held in 2016, the number of visitors has been steadily increasing by more than 50% every year, and the Information Media Development Agency (IMDA), an agency under Singapore's Ministry of Information and Communication, has attracted attention as it participates and sponsors every year. More than 350 global education experts participated to address the most pressing issues facing educators today, focusing on teacher education, pedagogy, digital learning, sustainability, cybersecurity and digital gaps, and more than 200 Edutech companies from about 12 countries participated to showcase the latest technologies.

Edutech demand in Singapore and Southeast Asia continues to increase. In particular, the Asian market has lower income levels and language barriers than the North American and European markets, so the edutech market is still small, but interest in global edutech companies is growing as the market growth potential is high and the growth rate of the edutech market in the West is stabilizing.

At the fair, BPLAB introduced a project-type coding parish that is close to real life that can raise children's interest and participation. The familiar parishes, such as electronic instruments using MAKEY-MAKEY, plant growth smart farms that can be made of Arduino, and air purifiers that purify fine dust, have raised the interest of visitors at unfamiliar overseas fairs.

"We are currently successfully holding various international events through overseas partnership contracts and participation in global exhibitions," said Kwon Ki-dong, CEO of BPLAB. "Through this exhibition, the interest of foreign edutech companies, experts, and global education managers was as hot as in Korea, and it was meaningful to meet various global customers and share various insights."

Meanwhile, BPLAB is investing in the global stage to advance into the overseas education market, participating in Japan's "Kansai Education ICT Exhibition 2023" in August as well as the "2023 UAE Dubai GESS (Global Education Supplies & Solutions) Education Equipment Exhibition" in November. In addition, it has achieved six exports to the United States and Japan this year, and plans to export more than 20 exports to five countries next year.
